The JODI Barhouse

The JODI Barhouse is a geometric shophouse that embodies a striking synthesis of geometry and harmony, with angular elements being able to bring proportionately, showing and evoking a modern yet inviting ambience for individuals, and somehow create an environment integrated into the park, allowing people to be involved in an immersive experience while being only within the bar. This is done by manipulating the space between levels through stacking and allows form exploration to come into play, while also simultaneously giving flow and hierarchy that links the spaces.

For this project, it took place at Keong Saik Rd at an alleyway that is 4.5m by 20m, and this was my first project as a student in Interior Architecture & Design. The project brief focused more on form exploration and creativity, with a client of our choice and the only limitations being the building height and surrounding site.
